Salvini announces a revolution

“There will be a political secretariat. More I delegate, and more I am happy”. These are the words Salvini said after the regional elections.

He added then: “We will organize us as a old fashioned party, divided in departments. A restricted gabinet will side the secretary”.

Salvini claimed: “This is a moment in which people do need accurate answers. So, we have been creating some departments. So there is not Salvini, but there is Salvini as part of a team with hundreds of kind people. For example, there will be the Department for Disability, with Alessandra Locatelli, antoher one about Agriculture, with Gian Marco Centinaio, another one about Turism…”.

Lega‘s leader concluded by saiyng he does not believe in “parties of plastic” in the Rousseau Platform and in the spot party. Instead of this, he does believe in municipal and regional advisers.

Voices are spreading about some names for the command of the other departments. For example, the Autonomy Department will be chaired by Erika Stefani, the Department of Justice will be chaired by Giulia Bongiorno. The Department of Culture will be chaired by Lucia Borgonzoni, while at the Department of Economics there will be Alberto Bagnai. At the Department of Labour there will be Claudio Durigon and at the Infrastructures there will be Edoardo Rixi.

Salvini speaks about the case Gregoretti

Matteo Salvini defends himself on the case Gregoretti. He says: “There has not been any kidnapping, because there has not been any illecit deprivation of personal freedom by waiting for the transfer organization of migrants torwards the final destination”. So, in Salvini’s opinion, he did not kidnap the migrants, but he would leave them there to wait for the relocation. Moreover, Salvini claims that migrants were treated as in a luxury hotel with three meals a day on the ship.

Salvini adds: “To defend the borders was not my right, but my duty, not as minister but as citizen”.

Speaking at Radio 24, Lega’s leader claims there is no clash with Zaia, and tells the Radio he is happy for the victory of the governor in Veneto. Moreover, he discusses about the stadiums reopening during the covid emergency. He declares he does not see the problem. In fact, he would reopen them right now. Salvini claims people do not have to look at the impact of school reopening.
