Necrophobic: Perchè Alex Friberg è stato licenziato?

La swedish blackned death metal band Necrophobic poco più di una settimana fa ha lanciato, tramite la pagina ufficiale Facebook, un annuncio: “NECROPHOBIC PART WAYS WITH ALEXANDER FRIBERG

Necrophobic have decided to part ways with Alexander Friberg due to several reasons. We thank him for great times together and wish him the best in the future with his other obligations in Naglfar and his main band Firespawn.

In sostanza è stato annunciato il “divorzio” con Alex Friberg (Conosciuto anche come Alex Impaler), per quanto riguarda le motivazione, i restanti componenti della band, sono rimasti sul vago con un “diverse ragioni“.
Friberg, dal canto suo, non fa attendere una risposta: “Nothing lasts forever! It is with sorrow in my heart I make this announcement. I have been a part of NECROPHOBIC for 11 years now but my so called ‘brothers’ decided to fire me and replace me with the guy who is session for me during my time-out. I have no words for this really. Very nice of you guys… Now that is how you treat a band member since 11 years. Replace me with a guy who did 5 shows with you, ok… On the positive note is that I will have more time to focus on @firespawn_official and @naglfarofficial and to be home with my family, so I win! Life goes on”

Sostanzialmente dice che nulla è per sente, che da questa situazione ne esce vincitore, ma nel messaggio una punta di rabbia c’è, passare 11 in una band e vedersi rimpiazzato da un turnista, beh farebbe inviperire chiunque.
Certo Alex non resta senza band, infatti ricordiamo che è il fondatore, ed ovviamente bassista, del supergruppo Firespawn (che vede alla Voce L.G. Petrov from Entombed A.D., Entombed e Nihilist) e bassista live nei Naglfar. Quasi ironizza sul fatto che avrà più tempo per le band sopra citate e per la sua famiglia.

Inoltre, sei giorni fa, Impaler ha fatto un breve video, pubblicato su Instagram, dove ringrazia “Dal profondo del cuore” per il quasi inaspettato supporto così massiccio da parte dei followers.
Dopo il video messaggio Alex posta sempre su Instagram, una foto con il basso il logo sfocato dei firespawn ed una registrazione in corso.

Vedremo prossimamente cosa accadrà, anche se la suddetta band ha appena rilasciato il suo nuovo disco.
