A huge controversy bursts in Italy after FDI sport assessor in Perugia, Clara Pastorelli, has posted on Facebook a selfie which shows her dressed like Jake Angeli, the man who leaded the Capitol Hill riot in the USA. On the photo, then cancelled, there was written: “Always force and in any case, United States of America. What seems real is not often that. Will FB ban me, too?”.
What happened in Italy?
Images of the Capitol Hill riot on 6th January 2021 have been seen all over the world. In every country, there are both people who condemn what happened and people who regret to criticize. In Italy, political party Fratelli d’Italia (FDI), which has always admired Trump’s policies, has condemned violence. However, the party has said it was a right of the Trump supporters to protest for a stolen election. These Italian pro-Trump parties, instead of discuss about the attack to democracy Trump has made, have concentrated just on the fact Trump has been banned from most of social media.
Clara Pastorelli justifies herself
These days, polemics are bursting, after that FDI sport assessor of Perugia (Umbria) Clara Pastorelli posted on her Facebook profile a selfie where she is dressed like Jake Angeli, called Q Shaman. He is the man who leaded the Capitol Hill riot. In the photo, that was then cancelled, there was written: “Always force and in any case, United States of America. What seems real is not often that. Will FB ban me, too?”. Pastorelli said that she does not think it is easy nor opportune to give sure judices about what happened in Capitol Hill. She has then expressed all her anger against big tech, which, according to herself, stomped the most dated world’s Constitution.
